Hero MotoCorp had plenty of new bikes on display at EICMA 2024, including a new Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250 and Karizma 250. While those were the headline grabbers, the company also had a couple of interesting displays along the sidelines, including this updated Mavrick 440.
The Mavrick 440 is Hero’s own motorcycle based on the X440 platform that was co-developed by Hero and Harley-Davidson. This bike was intended to be positioned significantly lower than the Harley and Hero intentionally omitted a couple of features to make that happen. However, it appears that the company will now offer customers the Mavrick 440 with a gold coloured USD fork and a TFT display.
Like in the Harley X440, this display is a traditional rectangular TFT within a circular housing. The rest of the bike is unchanged mechanically and it continues with the same 440cc air/oil cooled engine that produces 27hp and 36Nm of torque.
The Hero Mavrick is currently available in three variants that range between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.24 lakh while the Harley X440 is priced between Rs 2.39 lakh and Rs 2.89 lakh. Expect to see this top-spec Mavrick priced closer to the base Harley X440 when it goes on sale in the coming months.
All prices ex-showroom, Delhi
