KTM has officially unveiled its much-anticipated 1390 Super Duke R in India and it will rival the likes of the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, Ducati Streetfighter V4 S and the BMW S1000R.
The 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a newly developed 1,301cc V-twin engine that produces a peak output of 190hp at 10,000rpm and 145Nm at 8,000rpm. Featuring advanced traction control, launch control, wheelie control, multiple ride modes and a bi-directional quick-shifter. Suspension duties are taken care of by a WP USD fork at the front and a WP monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile braking is taken care of by a set of dual 320mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
In terms of design the 1390 Super Duke R looks muscular and aggressive with sharp LED headlamp, 17.5 litre tank, angular lines and minimal bodywork. The 1390 Super Duke R has a seat height of 834mm and tips the scales at 200kg (without fuel). This bike will be available at all new KTM flagship stores in 7 cities, starting with Bangalore and Pune.
