Festive season discounts have been rolled out across the board and during the next couple of months buyers will be able to avail attractive benefits on their new car or SUV. Here, we’ve listed out the five compact SUVs with the greatest discounts and benefits on offer, and there are two from Maruti Suzuki, and one each from Tata, Mahindra and Nissan.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Save up to Rs 2.5 lakh

Maruti’s lifestyle SUV now gets up to Rs 2.5 lakh off on the top-spec Alpha variant, while the lower Zeta variant is being offered with benefits up to Rs 1.95 lakh; which is an increase of about Rs 45,000 compared to last month. The Jimny, which competes with the Thar and Gurkha, is currently priced between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.79 lakh, and comes with a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine. The naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit comes with 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options.

Nissan Magnite

Save up to Rs 1.25 lakh

Variants of the Magnite compact SUV equipped with the 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine get a total of up to Rs 1.25 lakh off during the festive season, which includes a cash discount, an exchange bonus, corporate discounts and a loyalty bonus. The entry-level XE and the AMT gearbox equipped variants of the Magnites powered by the 72hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine get up to Rs 85,000 and Rs 1.2 lakh off, respectively. Nissan’s compact SUV is currently priced between Rs 6.00 lakh and Rs 10.66 lakh.

Tata Nexon

Save up to Rs 1.15 lakh

Tata’s Nexon compact SUV has total benefits ranging from Rs 16,000-1 lakh, though there are no discounts on the entry-level Smart (O), Smart+ and Smart+ S variants. On the other hand, MY2023 models get an additional cash discount worth Rs 15,000. The higher-spec Creative+ S gets the maximum discount, while the range-topping Fearless trims get up to Rs 60,000 off. Tata’s answer to the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO and other compact SUVs is currently priced between Rs 8.00 lakh - Rs 15.8 lakh, and comes with 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine options, with manual and automatic gearboxes to choose from.

Mahindra Bolero Neo

Save up to Rs 85,000

During this period, range-topping Bolero B6 OPT variants get up to Rs 90,000 in benefits and discounts while the mid-spec B6 and entry-level B4 come with up to Rs 17,000 and Rs 1,000 off, respectively. Powered by a 76hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, the Bolero is currently priced between Rs 9.79 lakh and 10.91 lakh. Mahindra’s oldest model that’s still on sale is due a generation change. The brand is working on the next-gen model, which is expected to arrive in 2026.

Maruti Fronx

Save up to Rs 83,000

Compared to the previous month, discounts on the Fronx turbo, which gets a 100hp unit and an automatic gearbox option, have increased slightly. There are total benefits up to Rs 83,000 on these variants, which includes the Fronx Velocity Edition package that is priced at Rs 40,000. The Fronx with the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol gets discounts of up to Rs 35,000 and the 1.2-litre petrol Sigma gets Rs 32,500 in benefits. The Delta, Delta Plus, and Delta Plus (O) variants each have a Rs 30,000 discount. The Fronx CNG is available with Rs 10,000 off across all variants. The compact SUV is rpiced between Rs 7.52 lakh to Rs 12.88 lakh.
