Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Press Club has announced five senior journalists as recipients of the Mangaluru Press Club Honor for the year 2024.

The awardees include Muhammad Arif Padubidri (Vijaya Karnataka), Jitendra Kundeshwar (Vishwavani), Bhaskar Rai Katta (Suddi Buddike), Raghuram Nayak (Hosadigantha), and press photographer Satish Ira (Udayavani).

The honour comprises a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a citation, and a memento.

The awards will be presented during the Mangaluru Press Club Day celebrations, scheduled to be held on January 26 at 10 a.m. at the Palemar Garden near Morgans Gate. This announcement was made by Mangaluru Press Club General Secretary Ibrahim Adkasthala in a press release.
