In a horrifying incident, a 32-year-old woman from Yelahanka was abducted and gang-raped by a group of men late Sunday night near K.R. Market. The attackers also robbed her of cash and gold jewelry before fleeing the scene.

The woman had visited the city market for work and was waiting for a bus to return to Yelahanka around 11:30 PM. According to her statement, a group of four to five men arrived at the spot and she asked them about the bus stop. They offered to show her the way, but instead led her to a nearby godown where they assaulted her.

After regaining consciousness, she managed to seek help from locals who informed the police. The victim was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment. Preliminary reports suggest that the attackers were under the influence of alcohol.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and have identified some suspects. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the culprits.
