Udupi: A gas-laden tanker overturned near Kinnimulki on the National Highway on Friday morning. Fortunately, no injuries or damages were reported.

The tanker, carrying gas used in fertilizers, was en route to a company in Baikampady. The incident occurred near the inclined service road connecting the highway in front of a steel company when the tanker lost balance and toppled.

The fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and ensured there was no gas leakage. Officials from the BSF chemical plant in Mangaluru were called to assess the situation. The tanker was safely evacuated after their inspection.
