The DMK staged widespread protests across Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, with Deputy General Secretary Kanimozhi accusing the BJP-led Central Government of installing Governor RN Ravi to create hurdles for the state government and insult Tamils. Addressing a gathering of party members, Kanimozhi, also the MP for Thoothukudi, criticized the Governor for politicizing his role and urged him to step aside if unwilling to fulfill his constitutional duties.
