Resignation of Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal accepted, election for successor on March 1

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Working Committee on Friday accepted the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal as president of the party and the election for his successor would be held on March 1.
