Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Technical Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that along with former Vice Chancellor, fifteen people were arrested in connection with financial irregularity scam in Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (RGPV).

The case is under consideration of Bhopal court. He added that the department has issued charge sheet to the then VC Sunil Kumar and suspended Registrar Dr R S Rajput.

He was answering to a written question of Atif Aqueel in the assembly on Thursday.

512 posts of profs, 7,046 of asst profs vacant

There are 512 vacant posts of Professors followed by 7,046 vacant posts of Assistant Professors in the Higher Education department.

Madhya Pradesh Lok Seva Ayog issued select lists of some subjects in connection with Assistant Professor Exam 2022. After getting the selection list, processing of appointment will be done.

Against vacant posts, guest lecturers were invited and hence teaching arrangement is underway. This was informed by Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar while replying to a written question of Nitendra Brijendra Singh Rathore in assembly.

Rs 173.64 cr spent on Rachna Towers so far

The project cost of Rachna Towers Complex, Bhopal was Rs 176 crore and till date, Rs 173.64 crore had been spent.

This was informed to the assembly by Cooperative Minister Vishvas Sarang in response to a question asked by Rajendra Meshram. He asked that what was the cost of ‘Rachna Tower’ being constructed for MLA’s and how much sum has been spent so far.
