One of television's most loved pairs, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, have reportedly ended their relationship after being together for years. Rumours sparked after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. However, they have not deleted photos with each other that were shared on Instagram.

The duo, who participated together in Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 16, never publicly acknowledged a romantic relationship and always referred to each other as 'best friends.' While Priyanka confessed to having feelings for Ankit on Bigg Boss 16, the latter never commented on the status of their relationship.

Now, finally Ankit broke his silence on the breakup rumours after their shocking unfollow drama on Instagram. When asked about the same, Gupta told India Forums, "Not commenting on that." Ankit's statement left fans confused, as he neither confirmed nor denied their breakup.

Earlier, journalist Vickey Lalwani on his Instagram handle, stated that Priyanka stormed out of their house, where they were staying together.

Rumours of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta being in a relationship started circulating when they were inside the Bigg Boss 16 house. However, the duo always denied dating.

Priyanka and Ankit first met on the sets of their television show, Udaariyaan, which was produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey. Their on-screen chemistry as Tejo and Fateh was widely admired, and it quickly became one of the highlights of the show.

On the work front, Priyanka and Ankit are all set to reunite on-screen in Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey's show Terre Ho Jaayein Hum, which will premiere on the YouTube channel Dreamiyata Dramaa.
