Muzaffarnagar A shocking video of a man from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar consuming poison after alleged torture and blackmail from his wife and in-laws has gone viral on social media.
The man identified as Rahul is seen teary-eyed in the video. In the video the man is heard saying, "My in-laws are harassing me. My father is 80-85 year-old and mother is 60-65 year-old."
In the beging of the video the man says, "Aaj mera akhri time hai, main nahi jeena chahta." Which roughly translates to "This is my last time and i do not want to live."
He further says, "I have no connections with my brother but still my in-laws are troubling him."
"My wife Jyoti along with my in-laws are implicating me with a false case and demanding 12 Lakh rupees."
He further says in the video, "I do not have money to fight a case. I do not know where to go and cannot see a way out."
Rahul in the video repeatedly says that his in-laws are torturing him. He further claims, "If i am only not alive then what will be the point of the case."
Rahul then allegedly brings a packet of poison and mixes it in a glass of water and consumes it in front of the camera.
Rahul in the video also claims that there has been physical assaults on him as well.

Police Action
There has been no reports of any police action in the matter.
Atul Subash Case
In December 2024, Benguluru based techie Atul Subhash left a detailed 24-page suicide note and an 81-minute video in which he blamed the trouble in his marriage and divorce proceedings as the reason for his death.
Subhash allegedly took the extreme step as his wife and in-laws demanded Rs 3 crore to withdraw the cases filed against him and Rs 30 lakh to grant visitation rights to see his son.
