Allu Arjun received praise for his remarkable dance performance in his recent film Pushpa 2: The Rule during the Gango Renuka Thalli (Jathara) song, where he was seen wearing a saree, makeup, and heavy jewellery, honouring Goddess Gangamma Thalli. Recently, choreographer-actor Ganesh Acharya lauded Allu Arjun for his dedication, revealing that he sustained injuries while filming, yet continued performing, showcasing his dedication and his determination for his role.

Speaking to India Today, Ganesh said that shooting the Jathra song was 'extremely challenging' for him and they filmed continuously for 29 days, but he gives full credit to Allu Arjun.

"He dedicated five years to both the Pushpa films. In Jathra, he performed wearing a saree, ghungroos, a necklace, a blouse, and various other props. Every 5-10 days, he would injure himself, sometimes breaking his foot or suffering neck injuries, but he never gave up," Ganesh said.

Earlier, Allu Arjun talked about the sequence and shared that he was initially scared when director Sukumar told him about the Jathara sequence.

"First, there was fear, and then there was exploration. And then after a point, we knew, this is going to be the USP of the film as an actor. I knew it is a challenging thing for me as an actor. If I do this, I will walk away with a huge, how do I say, with a great name. Only one thing that Sukumar garu (sir) and I thought was that even if he's dressed in a saree, he has to look very, very macho, the alpha-ness should not be lost," he told The Hollywood Reporter India.
