Mumbai: A Mumbaikar raised a concern about the dug-up road on Kandivali Lokhandwala Road. The user highlighted this issue in a post on X on Sunday, sharing videos and pictures of the road. User mentioned that the road was in perfectly fine condition, yet maintenance work was being carried out. The road is currently left incomplete, causing inconvenience.

In the post, the user stated, "The intact road of Kandivali Lokhandwala was dug up to benefit the contractors! How long will this game of wasting public money continue? The work has been stopped for the last several days, the common man is troubled, but why is the administration silent? The road construction should be completed as soon as possible!"

The user also pointed out that the road was in perfectly fine condition, questioning why it was dug up when it didn’t require any maintenance. They emphasized that the focus should have been on repairing other roads in Mumbai that actually needed maintenance. With numerous road projects underway across the city, heavy traffic jams during peak hours have become a significant issue for commuters
