In a horrific accident in Maharashtra's Kolhapur, a speeding car crashed into nine parked vehicles near the Temblai Gate flyover in the early hours of Saturday.
Sadly, the driver, identified as Dheeraj Patil, a resident of Sadoli village in Kolhapur district, lost his life in the accident. CCTV footage of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

As seen in the video, the car, travelling at high speed, veered off course and collided with at least nine vehicles parked along the roadside.
Authorities suspect that Patil may have suffered a heart attack while driving, which caused him to lose control and accelerate.
In a similar incident in 2024, also in Kolhapur, a driver and two others lost their lives, while six were injured. Officials at the time suspected that the driver had a medical emergency and lost control of the speeding vehicle.
The shocking post-crash visuals showed a man lifting a child from a bike, while the woman riding pillion required assistance to get up. At least three people were flung several feet, and one man was seen lying on the road.
