Morena (Madhya Pradesh): Morena police have seized a massive consignment of ganja hidden inside a truck carrying animal feed bags. The Civil Line police intercepted the vehicle on Savitapura Canal Road during routine checking. Upon inspection, officers discovered 31 quintals of ganja, valued at ₹6.2 crore in the market.

Morena SP Sameer Saurabh described the bust as a significant action against drug trafficking. He confirmed that the accused has been taken into custody, and further verification of his background is underway.

According to information, Police received a tip-off about a truck smuggling ganja along the highway. Acting swiftly, they stopped truck number CG 10 AK 2778. At first glance, it appeared to be loaded with animal feed. However, upon thorough checking, officers uncovered packets of ganja hidden beneath the sacks.

Maharashtra to Delhi Drug Route

According to police sources, the consignment was loaded in Maharashtra and was en route to Delhi. The driver, also from Maharashtra, has been detained for questioning. Police are now investigating the larger network behind this smuggling operation and suspect a well-organized drug syndicate. More arrests are likely as the probe continues.
