The arrested individuals have been identified as Rohit Gurudutt Waghmare (29, resident of Warje Malwadi), Shubham Changdev Dhanwate (20, resident of Uttamnagar) and Rahul Dnyaneshwar Waghmare (36, resident of Paud Road, Kothrud), the official added.

Giving details about the case, Smartana Patil, DCP Zone II, said, "Accused Rohit Waghmare came to the Ayurvedic treatment centre in Dhankawadi on March 3 for a massage. Before the massage, he took off his shirt and hung it on a hook. He kept the mobile in the shirt's pocket to record discreetly. During the massage, he asked the woman to remove her top. When she refused, he said, 'I am a chief of a political party. If you don't do as I told you, I will close down your Ayurvedic treatment centre.' He forcibly made her remove her top during the treatment."

"After a while, he came back along with 2-3 people. He showed the video to the woman and threatened her to give them Rs 20,000 or else he would make the video viral. When she said she didn't have any money, they forcibly took the Rs 800 from the counter and left. After that, the woman did not tell anyone about the matter due to fear. However, later she filed a complaint with the Women's Commission. While investigating the crime, the police arrested the three by conducting a technical analysis and obtaining information about the whereabouts of the suspected accused," Patil added.

"Meanwhile, it has come to light that the trio have committed such crimes on multiple occasions. They go to massage parlors, take obscene videos, and then extort money," the DCP further said, adding that they are investigating further.
