Brenda engaged in an ongoing TikTok challenge which took away her life. The young TikToker sniffed the deodorant as part of the trend, resulting in health complications. She suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. She was immediately rescued and rushed to a local hospital, but despite doctors' efforts to revive her for 40 minutes, she was pronounced dead.

Authorities reported that the cause of death was a "possible oral inhalation of aerosol deodorant." The incident has sparked concern over the dangers of viral internet challenges that encourage risky behaviour among young users.
