BYD has introduced key updates for the 2025 models of the Atto 3 and Seal in India, aiming to enhance performance, comfort, and technology. Marking the first anniversary of the Seal’s launch, BYD India announced significant improvements for its luxury electric sedan and the Atto 3. These upgrades reinforce BYD’s focus on delivering a superior driving experience while strengthening its presence in the Indian EV market. The BYD Seal has already made a strong impact in its segment, with nearly 1,300 units sold in its debut year.

BYD has introduced special introductory pricing for the first 3,000 customers of the 2025 Atto 3, making the electric SUV more appealing to buyers. The Dynamic variant is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and comes with a 49.92kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 468km (ARAI). The Premium variant, available at Rs 29.85 lakh, is equipped with a larger 60.48kWh battery, delivering an extended range of 521km (ARAI). These competitive prices aim to attract more EV enthusiasts while strengthening BYD’s position in India’s electric vehicle market.

BYD Atto 3

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 has been upgraded to offer a more refined and luxurious experience for Indian buyers. The top-spec Superior variant, priced at Rs 33.99 lakh, retains the 60.48kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 521km. Enhancing its premium appeal, the SUV now features an all-new black interior theme, complemented by ventilated seats for the driver and front passenger. These updates not only add to the comfort but also align with the evolving expectations of Indian customers seeking a blend of style and convenience in an electric SUV.

BYD Seal Electric Sedan

BYD Seal electric sedan has received a range of updates for 2025, further enhancing its appeal in the Indian market. After selling 1,300 units in its first year, the sedan now comes with a powered sunshade as standard, improving cabin comfort. A new silver-plated dimming canopy adds a premium touch to the interior, while the upgraded air-conditioning system features a larger compressor and an advanced air purification module for a better in-cabin experience.

The mid-spec Premium variant now benefits from Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) for improved ride quality, a feature previously reserved for the top-end Performance model. Meanwhile, the Performance variant now gets BYD’s DiSus-C suspension, which dynamically adjusts for enhanced comfort and stability. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard across all variants, ensuring seamless smartphone connectivity.
