Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A rare scene was witnessed at the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Day-3 of the Budget session on Wednesday. Finance Minister Jagdish Devda was presenting the state budget 2025-26, when CM Mohan Yadav interrupted. He halted FM Devda's budget speech and welcome Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the assembly.

Chouhan, who was the former CM of Madhya Pradesh and is now the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, was sitting in the assembly as a spectator.

As Finance Minister Jagdish Devda was presenting the budget, CM Yadav took a moment to acknowledge Chouhan. He said, "Our Union Agriculture Minister and former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is here with us. I welcome him on behalf on the assembly."

Shivraj greeted CM Yadav and other MLAs.

Following this, Finance Minister Jagdish Devda continued his budget speech and announced several welfare schemes. He said that a new building will be built for Health, Women and Child Development, and Anganwadi services. He also introduced the Chief Minister Scooty Scheme to help women and students.

Devda presented a budget of Rs 4.21 lakh crore, allocating money on various development projects and public welfare schemes. The budget aims to improve infrastructure, create jobs, and support people in the state, he said.

The Madhya Pradesh budget session is ongoing, and more important announcements are expected in the coming days.
