Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The city will get air connectivity with port and industrial city Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) from March 31. Apart from this, a flight will also be started for Jabalpur from March 30. IndiGo will roll out the Visakhapatnam (Vizag) flight in the Summer Schedule.

The flight will reach Visakhapatnam via Raipur but the passengers will not have to change the aircraft. After stopping for just 20 minutes in Raipur, the aircraft will reach Visakhapatnam.

As per information, IndiGo will start the flight from Monday, March 31, deploying ATR aircraft. The passenger will reach Visakhapatnam in about 3.45 hours. Currently, to go to Visakhapatnam, passengers have to go to another city, especially Mumbai or Delhi, from where they catch another flight. The airline will operate this flight daily and started ticket bookings from Tuesday itself.

As per the schedule, the flight 6E-7295 will depart from the city at 6.35 AM and reach Raipur at 8.30 AM After a 20-minute halt, the ATR aircraft will depart from Raipur at 8.50 AM and reach Visakhapatnam at 10.20 AM. On the return journey, the flight will depart from Visakhapatnam at 11 AM and will reach Indore at 2.45 PM via Raipur.
