Former South Africa cricketer Herschelle Gibbs has hit out at the Bangladesh Tigers for putting his travel plans on halt. Gibbs was hired as coach of Bangladesh Tigers for Asian Legends League T20. In his message on social media Gibbs wrote, "Hired me as coach of Bangladesh team and still waiting for travel plans!! F….. joke".

When asked by SACricketmag.com when he was supposed to arrive and if he would still be going, the 51-year-old said: “Well the league starts today so I was meant to fly on Saturday … no point in going if they ghost you.”

Gibbs added that the Tigers were “happy to use your image to advertise but can’t be bothered to do the rest …”
