YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani found himself embroiled in controversy after his appearance on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, where Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, asked a crass question to a contestant about 'parents' sex,' sparking major backlash and leading to multiple FIRs being filed.
Amid the India's Got Latent row, Chanchlani was spotted in Mumbai as he headed to his gym. When paparazzi asked about his whereabouts, as he was seen in public after a long time, Ashish said, "Idhar-udhar ghumke, poora India tour karke, halat kharab ho gayi hai."

On Friday, the Gauhati High Court granted anticipatory bail to Chanchlani in connection with a case lodged by the city police following the outrage over the Latent show. The order was passed by Justice Mridul Kumar Kalita.
"After going through the case diary, the high court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner," his advocate, Joyraj Borah told PTI.
Along with Borah, Ashish's counsels—Hiranya Kumar Nath, Apoorv Srivastava, and Avinash Lalwani—argued that their client had appeared before the investigating officer and cooperated in the case as per the previous directions of the HC.
On February 10, the FIR was registered by the city police under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhtia (BNS), IT Act, Cinematograph Act and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
A few days ago, Ashish shared an emotional video on his Instagram handle, addressing the controversy. "Lad lenge situation se, dekhe hain aise tough times, isse bhi kuch naya seekh lenge."
He further urged fans to support him when he starts posting content again and said, "Main aap sabse bas yahi request karta hoon ki meri family aur mujhe apni prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapas aaun, mera kaam thoda idhar-udhar ho gaya hoga, lekin tab bhi support karna. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard. Bus dhyan rakhiye sab log apna."
