Bengaluru: The Garden City is expected to experience mostly cloudy skies on Sunday, March 9, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 19 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures of 33 degrees Celsius. The city witnessed the Sunrise at 06:31 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 6:30 PM.

According to the IMD, Bengaluru and other districts, including coastal and regions in south interior districts, will receive 30-40 per cent more pre-monsoon rain between March and May. Meanwhile, residents will experience dry weather and heat wave in the North Interior Karnataka.

IMD predicted rainfall

Dry weather is anticipated to continue until Monday, with mild rain predicted for South Interior Karnataka, including Bengaluru, on March 11 and 12. This is linked to a weather pattern developing over Tamil Nadu. Scattered rain is also probable in Coastal Karnataka, particularly in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 145 which indicates moderate air quality in the city and it's adjoining areas. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for next five days on X and wrote, "Dry air is likely over the state today and tomorrow, with cloudy conditions over coastal, hilly and south interior districts, with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph."
