Bengaluru: A horrific crash took place in Karnataka's Bengaluru rural district on Monday after a car hit a divider at high speed and flipped over multiple times. A 20-year-old man died in the crash, while four others were reportedly injured. The incident, which took place on a highway near Kattihosahalli in Doddaballapur taluk of the district, was recorded on CCTV and soon the video went viral on social media.

In the video, it could be seen that the car crashed into the road divider at high speed after the driver lost control.  After rolling over four times, the vehicle landed on one of its sides. The impact of the collision was so intense that two passengers in the car could be seen flying out of it.

The car was reportedly travelling from Dharwad to Vijayapura. Even after landing on one of its sides, the wheel of the car continued to spin. The driver of the car, Mohammad Yunus, lost his life. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries. The four passengers of the car are currently undergoing treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

The incident took place a day after a speeding car hit a woman when she was crossing a road in Karnataka's Chitradurga on Sunday night. According to reports, the woman was crossing an expressway when she was hit by the car. The woman died on the spot. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV and the video surfaced online.

In the 30-second clip, it could be seen that the victim was crossing the expressway with other people, including two children and when she reached the second lane, the speeding car hit her.
