Jehanabad (Bihar): A recent incident involving a female teacher from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bihar's Jehanabad has sparked widespread outrage. The teacher, identified as Deepali Shah from Delhi, was seen in a viral video hurling abusive and derogatory remarks against the people of Bihar, expressing her frustration over her posting in Jehanabad.

Viral Video Shows Teacher Abusing, Insulting People Of Bihar

In the video, Shah is visibly upset about her job placement in Jehanabad and questions why she was not posted in places like Ladakh, Goa, South India or any other state instead. While expressing her frustration over her posting she said, "Mere se bhen***d kya dushmani thi tumko?" (what was the enmity with me)

Her outburst not only undermines the dignity of the teaching profession but also insults the people of Bihar. She also stated that the people of Bihar had zero civic sense and that India is still a developing country because of Bihar. "If the region is excluded from the country, we are a developed nation," said Shah.

Her choice of language has left many shocked, with critics saying that such behaviour is unbecoming of a teacher, who is traditionally regarded as a guide and role model in society.

No Response From School Management

Reacting to the incident, Kendriya Vidyalaya's Principal, Ravindra Ram, mentioned that Shah considers this issue a personal matter and hence, he refrained from making any direct comment. However, he has informed higher school authorities about the situation, reported Zee News.

The District Magistrate (DM) of Jehanabad, Alankrita Pandey, has taken cognisance of the video. She assured that an investigation would be conducted to verify the authenticity of the video and if Shah is found guilty, appropriate action will follow, according to the report.

Bihar Cops Take Cognisance Of Viral Video

Bihar Police also took cognisance of the viral video. While tagging the official account of SP Jehanabad, Bihar Police commented, "Please send for necessary legal action."

SP Jehanabad then replied to the comment assuring necessary probe and legal action in the matter. "In this regard, the matter has been sent to the city police station for investigation and taking legal action," wrote SP Jehanabad on the X post in response.
