Addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded CM Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh administrative teams for organising the mega event.

"It's a huge achievement that the state received Rs 30.77 Lakh Crore. The state government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring these MoUs fructify."

Listing the state's positives, the minister said that "Madhya Pradesh is blessed with a strategic location. It has mines, forests, land, educated youth as well as a skilled workforce, making it an ideal investment destination.

Madhya Pradesh has rich reserves of manganese, copper & aluminum. It has emerged as the Cotton hub of India. I have full faith the state will make in to top achievers of the country."

MoUs Worth Rs 30.77 Lakh Crore Signed during GIS, RIC: CM Mohan Yadav

Addressing the closing ceremony, CM Mohan Yadav extended gratefulness to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for gracing the event.

"We have expansive opportunities in agriculture and textile space. We will continue Nearly 35000 investors, guests participated during the two-day event.

"We have signed MoUs worth Rs 30.77 Lakh Crore during the two-day Global Investors Summit and some Regional Industrial Conclaves. Of this total figures, MoUs worth Rs 22 Lakh Crore were signed," CM Yadav said.

Big giants like Adani, RIL, NTPC Green proposed investment offers in the state.

Union Minister Amit Shah will address the closing ceremony of the Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended him at the Raja Bhoj Airport at 4:30pm. The duo left for the IGRMS-- venue for the investors summit.

Union Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu encouraged the youths to lead the India's growth and come up with start-ups.

Another event, the 'Urban Development Summit,' was conducted in the second half of day 2. Union Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, MP's Urban Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel attended the event.

Addressing the gathering, Kailash Vijayvargiya hailed 'Swachh' Indore, citing consecutive wins in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

"Indore is the cleanest city in the country. We will now make it the greenest city in the country. We planted 51 trees last year. This year, too, we wil plant 51 trees in and around Indore. We will continue this for the next four to five years till we achieve the target of 2.5 crore trees and bring the city's temperature down by 4 degrees Celsius."

Vijayvargiya further assured investors of framing policies that benefit all. "We believe in PM Modi's idea of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.' We will work out policies that will help all—city, state, and investors—grow.

Pankaj Tripathi Hails Film Shooting Experience In MP

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi also attended the event on tourism on day-2 of GIS here in Bhopal. He said he was so impressed by the beauty and supportive people here that he has planned a jungle trip here with his family for next month.

"The people here are so supportive. We have shot several films here, from Stree, Lukka Chupi to Ludo. We have never encountered any problem. The residents never raised any objection when we would do late-night shooting for Stree 2 in Chanderi."

Tripathi further invited all to cherish the 'Heart of India'.

MP is the future hub of tourism & travel industries: Union Minister of Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat

Multiple departmental events have been scheduled throughout the day. Union Minister of Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended a session on tourism.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Shekhawat said India's domestic tourism numbers stand at 250 crore, excluding numbers of Maha Kumbh.

"India is standing on a door of opportunities, especially Madhya Pradesh. The herat of India has all hat it takes to satisfy a tourist's heart-- from hills to jungle, water bodies, historical and cultural sites. And the significant growth in the infrastructure here has made Madhya Pradesh a favourable place for tourism, said the Union Minister.

He hailed the incentives offered by the state to businesses, emphasising that Madhya Pradesh will become a hub of travel and tourism industries in the coming future.

Urbanisation Expected To Reach 50% In India: Union Minister Manohar Khattar

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Manohar Khattar said that urban population increasing rapidly across the world. In India, it is expected to reach till 50% from current 32%.

He underlined the necessity to develop urban facilities from now itself so to cater to future needs.

The urban minister also highlighted the need to provide houses to roofless families at cheaper rate.

Will Make MP No.1 In Urbanisation: Minister Vijayvargiya

A brief presentation was given on Indore's Hukumchand Mill and use of its land for residential and commercial use.

Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said suggestions will be taken to make state as number one in urbanisation. He said necessary amendments will be made in the policy related if required.

Day-2 of the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal began with a session on 'Unlocking Land Value In Cities'. The event aims to explore the possibilities of the urban land in a planed manner and its related policies.

Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Mohan Lal Khattar is chairing the session.

CM Mohan Yadav, MP Urban Development Minister Vishvas Sarang, Minister of state Pratima Bagri, Mayor Malti Rai were also present on the occasion.
