ASRB NET Notification 2025: The ASRB NET notification 2025 is out now by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB). The recruitment intends to fill vacancies for 582 posts including vacancies for Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Subject Matter Specialists (SMS), and Senior Technical Officers (STO).

ASRB NET Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

The education qualification for this recruitment examination is a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Whereas the age limit for NET is minimum 21 years, no upper age limit; for ARS is 21 to 32 years (as of 1st August 2025) and SMS/STO is 21 to 35 years (as of 21st May 2025).

ASRB NET Recruitment 2025: Exam pattern and qualifying marks

As per the notice, There will be one 150-mark paper with 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions to complete in 2 (two) hours. Each question is worth one mark. These 150 questions will be based on the discipline in which the applicant has chosen to participate.

Each incorrect answer will result in a 1/3 mark deduction on the NET-2025. There will be no rounding of fractional marks.

The examination will only be administered in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at the scheduled centres. The questions in the test will be accessible in both Hindi and English. During the test process, the answers to the questions must be entered into the computer.

The paper will be of the same calibre as a Master's degree from an Indian university in the appropriate discipline.
