Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): German officials in their address highlighted ‘shortage of skilled hands for their industries’, but at the same time praised the facilities available in the state for industrialists. In the country session of Global Investors Summit (GIS), many countries discussed the strategy and possibilities of increasing trade relations with Madhya Pradesh.

Director General of Indo-German Commerce Stefan, Dr Chana and industrialist Nitesh Chaudhary participated in the country session. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain also participated. The Director General of Indo-German Commerce Stefan, said that Germany's trade with India is at a remarkable level.

Germany has immense possibilities of trade with Madhya Pradesh. He said that there are many opportunities for investment on the possibilities of minerals, green energy and connectivity present in the state. The Chief secretary in his address said, ‘In Madhya Pradesh, a company can be get registered in just 24 hours, but in Germany it takes 21 days. This shows that in the state ample opportunities are present’.

He also said that earlier to set up a resort 30 permissions were required, but now only 10 permissions are needed. ‘One more important factor of the state is easy availability of bureaucrats. This helps industrialists to establish industry in the state’, he said.
