MH SET 2025: Exam centres
The 40th SET examination will be held in 18 exam centres including Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ahilyanagar, Nasik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Ratnagiri, Parbhani, Nandurbar and Panjim (Goa).
MH SET 2025: Exam pattern
The test comprises two papers, both of which are objective. Paper 1 assesses reasoning ability, understanding, divergent thinking, and general awareness, with each question worth two marks. Paper 2 focuses on the applicant's selected subject and consists of 100 objective-type questions, each worth two marks. There are no negative markings.
MH SET 2025: Passing marks
To pass the exam, applicants must obtain at least 40% (35% for reserved groups). This test establishes qualifying for assistant professor posts at Maharashtra's universities and colleges. To take the exam, you must have finished a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
MH SET 2025: Application fees
For general applicants, the application cost is Rs 800. For reserved category applicants, the registration cost is Rs 650. Examination fees should be paid solely using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Exam fees, once paid, cannot be returned.
For PwD: Only people with 40% or more disability are qualified for benefits in this category.
