DU Convocation 2025: The Delhi University will host its 101st annual convocation today, February 22, 2025, where a total of 84,287 students will be awarded degrees. This includes 77,446 undergraduate (UG) students, 6,812 postgraduate (PG) students, and 29 graduates from the five-year programme.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the event as the Chief Guest. The ceremony will take place at the multipurpose hall of the DU Sports Complex. And 494 PhD holders, consisting of 248 male and 246 female students, will also receive their degrees.

Professor Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, the Controller of Examination at Delhi University, shared that 194 prizes will be distributed, including 159 gold medals, one silver medal, and 34 other awards.
The convocation will be presided over by DU Vice Chancellor, Yogesh Singh. Degrees will be conferred to students who completed their UG, PG, and PhD courses in 2024.
In a related development, the Delhi High Court directed DU and the Bar Council of India to provide a mechanism to offer online classes to students who are interested in pursuing law courses at the university, with a focus on integration of AI in the learning process.
