Over 250 odd students of R.F Naik School, Koparkhairane were informed about the importance of having a strong immunity system. The awareness program was conducted by Dabur Chyawanprash as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity.

The event conducted on Wednesday aimed to educate children on building strong immunity to fight against changing weather conditions, common bacteria, and viruses.

" Students were explained the importance of maintaining hygiene, eating properly cooked wholesome meals. Each of the students were provided with chyawanprash bottle as well," said an official from the school

The highlight of the event was the Q n A wherein the students were probed about their understanding about strong immunity and the way to achieve it. Students studying from standard 7 to 9 attended the workshop.

Dr. Parmeshwar Arora, MD (Ayurveda), reinstated the role of strong immunity especially During changing weather cycles, sudden fluctuations in temperature as these lead to infections and illnesses such as cough, cold, and flu. " Strengthening immunity is an effective way to fight ailments like cold and cough, respiratory issues, and low immunity," said Arora.

Under this initiative, Dabur Chyawanprash, in collaboration with leading doctors, are conducting immunity awareness sessions across the country to raise awareness about the importance of strong immunity among underprivileged children.

The session was attended by school principal Pratap Mahadik, Principal Seema Mhatre, Dattatray Dhodke, Gauri Pawar, Bebitai Landge, and Dinesh Kumar from Dabur. Students were also taught about boosting immunity through basic hygiene and a nutritious diet.
