Navi Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced that the computerized lottery draw for its much-anticipated housing scheme, 'My Preferred CIDCO Home,' will take place on Saturday, February 15.
The event will be held at Raigad Estate, at Phase I of Sector-28, Taloja Panchanand in Panvel Taluka at 11am. For the convenience of applicants, the draw will also be streamed live on CIDCO’s official website.
The 'My Preferred CIDCO Home' scheme was launched on October 12, 2024, offering a total of 26,000 tenements under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) categories. These housing units are strategically located across Navi Mumbai in nodes such as Vashi, Bamandongri, Kharkopar, Kharghar, Kharghar East (Taloja), Mansarovar, Khandeshwar, Panvel, and Kalamboli.
One of the key features of the scheme was its flexibility, allowing applicants to choose their preferred tenements. Applicants were given the opportunity to select up to 15 preferences, which contributed to the overwhelming response received for the scheme.
"The computerized lottery draw will be conducted in a transparent manner, ensuring fairness in the allocation process. Interested applicants can watch the live webcast on CIDCO’s website. Additionally, they can log in to their CIDCO Homes accounts to check the results from the comfort of their homes. A comprehensive list of successful applicants will be published on the official lottery portal at lottery.cidcoindia.com after the draw," a CIDCO official said.
