The University of Strathclyde is providing two fantastic scholarship opportunities to overseas students enrolled in postgraduate taught programs in the Faculty of Engineering in honour of Glasgow's 850th anniversary.
Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships
850 International Masters Scholarships in Glasgow Eligible international (non-EU) fee-paying students who register in full-time courses in the Faculty of Engineering in September 2025 and are self-funded are eligible to receive £5,000 scholarships from the institution. The students' tuition fees will be automatically reduced by the scholarships.

Eligibility:
Open to international (non-EU) fee-paying students who are self-funded.
Must be enrolled full-time at the University of Strathclyde's Glasgow campus starting September 2025.
Scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to another entry point.
Not available to candidates fully sponsored by a government agency or embassy.
Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught course beginning in September 2025.
Each student is eligible for only one scholarship per academic year.
Students not meeting the criteria will not be considered.
The Faculty of Engineering's decision on scholarship awards is final.

Additionally, a small number of Dean's International Excellence Awards are available to postgraduate teaching applicants at the Faculty of Engineering. Academic quality (often a first-class undergraduate degree from the UK or its international equivalent) and the capacity to significantly impact the Strathclyde community both during their studies and in their chosen field after graduation are prerequisites for admission.
