Actress Urvashi Rautela has joined the bandwagon of celebs who have unfollowed Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia, ever since he raked up a controversy with his statements on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. The actress has reportedly also cancelled her appearance on his podcast.
According to a News18 report, Urvashi was set to appear on Ranveer's podcast soon, which is now a go-to destination for celebs to promote their films. However, the actress cancelled the podcast appearance post the backlash that Ranveer has been receiving due to his "sex with parents" comment on India's Got Latent.
Not just that, but she reportedly also unfollowed him on Instagram. Urvashi is yet to issue an official statement on her move.
Earlier, singer B Praak had publically announced his decision to cancel his appearance on Ranveer's show because of his "wahiyaat" and "ghatiya" comment. If reports are to be believed, Team India cricketer Virat Kohli, who earlier followed Ranveer, has now unfollowed him on Instagram.
What is the India's Got Latent controversy?
For those who still don't know the entire story, it all began after Ranveer appeared as a guest in the latest episode of India's Got Latent, which is hosted by Samay Raina. During the episode, Ranveer asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life — or would you join in once and stop it forever?"
I met Ranveer at a cafe in Dharamshala on August 13th, he was with his girlfriend.

A few people came to the cafe to felicitate him.
So much fame at such a young age, has got the better of him.
Hope no one goes to his podcast show ever again.

This did not go down well with netizens, who slammed the show and the content creators for promoting vulgarity online. Multiple complaints were also filed against Ranveer, Samay and others.
Post the backlash, Ranveer issued an apology, stating that there was a "lapse in judgement" on his part. Samay, on the other hand, announced that he had deleted all India's Got Latent videos from his YouTube channel.
