The BJP's ideological mentor, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has reconstructed its office (Keshav Kunj) at Jhandewalan in New Delhi. The Keshav Kunj reconstruction project comprises three 12-storey buildings named Sadha, Archana, and Prerna.The RSS office has cost nearly ₹150 crore, collected from over 75,000 contributors. The reconstruction took more than eight years.The office complex provides accommodation facilities for its members, including a clinic, solar power systems, and a sewage treatment plant.The redesigned structure - a major shift from the previous two-storey design - integrates modern technology with traditional architectural techniques to create a bright and spacious environment.The office features one of its largest auditoriums, named after Ashok Singhal. This auditorium blends modern technology with ancient architecture and can seat 463 people, while another hall has a capacity of 650 members.The complex includes a pathology lab and a library for its functionaries and members. Keshav Kunj was designed by architect Anup Dave from Gujarat.On February 19, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will attend a Karyakarta Sammelan to mark the beginning of the work from the Jhandewalan office.
