Bengaluru: Bengaluru is India's tech capital and known for long traffic jams. Stakes are so high in this city that people want to utilise their every second to achieve their job targets and are good at multitasking. Recently, a Bengaluru woman was caught using a laptop while driving on busy roads in the city. The incident was caught on camera.
However, she has to face police action after the video of her using a laptop while driving went viral. The police handed her a Rs 1,000 fine and a piece of advice. However, the police did not reveal the identity of the woman.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, North Division) also posted the video on the official X account, with the caption: "Work from office or work from home, not while driving!" The police official also shared the image of cops handing over the fine of Rs 1,000 to the woman with her blurred face.

The video was recorded by a motorist. She was traced as the number plate of her car was visible in the video.
"Since her residence address was registered in our jurisdiction, we issued her a notice, directing her to appear before us. Today (Wednesday), she dropped into our station, and we showed her the video, which went viral on X. Also, we told her how dangerous it was for her and other commuters on the road," a police official told The Times of India.
The woman told cops that she was required to log in and was getting late in reaching home.
