Cancer Patient Ends Life

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 35-year-old cancer patient committed suicide by hanging himself at his house under Gunga police station limits on Tuesday. He was suffering from depression due to illness, police said.

According to reports, Dillaud village resident Vimal Sahoria was found hanging in his room on Tuesday morning. Police reached the spot and carried out investigation. No suicide note was found in the room but questioning from the family members revealed that Vimal was suffering from last stage of cancer

Externed criminal nabbed by Crime Branch

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Crime branch on Tuesday arrested a notorious criminal who was externed from the district but was still roaming in the city and was creating terror among locals. According to reports, resident of Priyadarshani Nagar under TT Nagar police station limits, Mukesh Arya (39) was externed on January 28.

ACP Mukhtar Qureshi said crime branch team received tip off that Mukesh was still roaming in the locality and was violating the orders. The team carried out a raid and arrested Mukesh. Mukesh is involved in criminal activities since 2007 and is a habitual offender. He has ten cases of arms act and other serious offences registered at TT Nagar police station, ACP added.

Molestation Accused Arrested, Rifle Without Valid License Seized

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): TT Nagar police registered an FIR against a man who was found roaming with a rifle whose licence had expired in December 2024. The firearm was also seized by police.

In-charge at TT Nagar police station TI Sudhir Arjaria said Ram Vishwakarma (41) was an accused in a case of molestation at TT Nagar police station.

Police team went to his home in Shajapur to arrest him in the case. However, the team found Vishwakarma roaming with a rifle. The accused produced the documents of the firearm, which revealed that its licence had expired in December 2024.

Vishwakarma has been arrested in the case of molestation and an FIR has been registered against him for keeping the firearm without a valid licence, TI added.
