Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Doctors’ Federation met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday, to discuss their long-pending demands. The meeting was arranged after chief convenor Dr Rakesh Malviya received an invitation from the CM’s office.
The delegation, including representatives from various medical associations, raised concerns about the delay in implementing key policies.
They demanded the formation of a high-level committee to address doctors’ issues, timely implementation of the Time Scale Selection Pay Scale (DACP equivalent), and execution of decisions passed in the October 4, 2023, cabinet meeting.
The doctors also highlighted excessive administrative interference in medical matters, affecting healthcare quality. While the CM assured action, the Federation announced that their phased movement will begin on February 20 as planned, citing past delays in implementation. The Doctor Samman SamparkYatra will also continue.
Key Demands of the Federation:

* Correct calculation of Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) * Reduction in administrative interference in medical matters
