Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors’ Summit (GIS), and Home Minister Amit Shah will be present at the valedictory function. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave this information at a meeting with his cabinet ministers on Tuesday.
Shah has given his consent to take part in GIS, Yadav said. Modi will lay the foundation of a cancer hospital at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur on February 23, Yadav said at the cabinet meeting.
The Prime Minister will come to Bhopal late in the evening after taking part in the function at Chhatarpur, Yadav said. Modi will make a night halt in Bhopal.
After inaugurating the GIS on February 24, he will leave for Delhi. After becoming the Prime Minister, Modi is making a night halt in Bhopal for the first time. According to sources, he will stay at Raj Bhawan.
There will be a dinner in Prime Minister’s honour. Besides delegates from the country and abroad, several ministers will take part in it. This is the reasons why massive arrangements are being made.
GIS Preparations: VD Sharma, Sabnani, Mayor In Govt Committee
State BJP president VD Sharma, BJP MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani, mayor Malti Rai, Bhopal district panchayat president Ramkunwar Naurang Singh Gurjar have been included in the government committee formed to look after arrangements of Global Investors Summit (GIS).
The committee will lend guidance, establish coordination with different departments and ensure event’s success. In short, it will look after the GIS preparations.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav is the chairman of the committee. The other members are deputy chief minister Jagdish Devda, deputy chief minister Rajendra Shukla, MSME minister Chaitanya Kashyap, sports minister Vishvas Sarang, minister of state for backward class Krishna Gaur, chief secretary Anurag Jain, principal secretary, finance, Manish Rastogi, principal secretary, industry policy investment and promotion, Raghvendra Kumar Singh, secretary, public relations, Sudam Khade and MPIDC MD Chandramauli Shukla.
