Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, along with Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. During one of the promotional events, the actor found himself in a spot after a fan shouted former girlfriend Malaika Arora's name to draw Arjun's attention.

A video of the incident has now gone viral in which Arjun, Rakul and Bhumi can be seen up on the stage, interacting with the crowd and promoting their film. It was then that a member from the audience yelled, "Malaika Arora!", making Arjun turn towards the voice.

While Rakul and Bhumi smiled and continued with the event, Arjun looked visibly irked and displeased. He gave a death stare to the man who shouted Malaika's name and shook his head in disappointment before turning away.

Rakul was also seen whispering something to Arjun, before they proceeded with the event.

For those unversed, Arjun and Malaika reportedly began dating in 2018, and while they never shied away from acknowledging their relationship in public, it was in 2024 that they decided to part ways after six years of dating.

The two never officially announced their breakup for several months, until during the promotions of Singham Again, Arjun declared, "Abhi main single hoon".

The reason behind the breakup is not known yet and the two continue to remain cordial despite parting ways. "They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other," a Pinkvilla report had stated.

Arjun was also the first one to reach Malaika's residence after the death of her father in 2024. He was seen standing by the family throughout the investigation and rituals.
