The show cause notice to the cabinet minister of Rajasthan, Kirori Lal Meena is likely to stir the political scenario in the state. The BJP state president Madan Rathod has said that  notice to minister Kirodi Lal is an internal matter of the party and has been given to maintain system in the party.

"This is not for media trial. When the party feels that any inquiry needs to be done, then the party does it.  It is very important to maintain the system. It is a family matter, we will solve it within the family,” said Rathore to the media on Tuesday.

Meena was issued a show cause notice on his allegations of snooping him and tapping his phone by the state government. The party has taken it as indiscipline as per the party constitution, however the show cause notice to Meena is being taken as major step of the party as the veteran leader has a mass base of supporters and has a good hold over Meena community of East Rajasthan, while he himself known for his rebellion kind of politics.

The sources in the party said that Meena's dissidence had become a matter of embarrassment for the state leadership and the government and that is why the party high command had to step in.  The notice has been given on the directions of party national president JP Nadda. 

"A report of Meena's recent statements was sent to the party high command and this notice is the result of this report and now the future of Meena in the party is to be decided by the national leadership, "said a senior official of the party. 

Notably, Meena had resigned from the post of cabinet minister after party's poor performance in eastern Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha elections; however, his resignation has not been accepted until now, but he is skipping the Vidhan Sabha sessions and remained absent in the last couple of cabinet meetings. 

The sources said that after this notice, the party may accept his resignation, but it may create further problems for the party and the government as he has a good hold over Meena community which is a major vote bank in the state. 

The party understands this as on the question of the reaction of Meena's supporters after notice, Madan Rathod said, his supporters need not become aggressive. We are all one, sits together. This is a matter of our family."
