The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) on Tuesday issued a statement demanding a ban on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent following Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial 'parents watching sex' question in the latest episode, which sparked outrage and led to multiple police complaints against him. They wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shaw and Information Broadcasing Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, demanding a strict action against Latent creators.

The association stated that India's Got Latent has previously used offensive language in "multiple episodes, disrespecting Indian culture and values." They further claimed that the show's influence on youth is dangerous, as it promotes toxic ideas that could have long-term negative effects.
