The karaoke system-installed auto was spotted in the bustling streets of Juhu. The three-wheeler was halted in traffic and the driver was happily singing to beat the time instead of honking. He was seen confidently recreating the song "Phir Wahi Raat Hai" from the classic 1979 film 'Ghar', captivating both passersby and social media users alike.
Shared by Instagram user Manoj Baadkar, the video has garnered over seven lakh views.
Auto driver identified as Satyawan Geete
It shows captures the driver dressed in white, performing the classic beat with a mic in hand. He is seen beating the road congestion in the city with his soulful rendition. His auto-rickshaw is inscribed with words that read "Karoke Autorikshaw," and "Search Satyawan Geete". He was thus identified as a music loving auto driver Satyawan, who has reportedly given a ride to Amitabh Bachchan on his vehicle.
The video quickly took social media by storm, with netizens praising the driver's unique blend of work and passion. One user captured the spirit of the moment perfectly: "This is how you balance work and passion." "Living his passion and driving a rickshaw because passion doesn’t pay bills, more power to him", said another.
