Mumbai: The Bandra railway police on Monday received a call from an unknown person, threatening that the Chembur police station would be blown up. Subsequently, the bomb detection and disposal squad conducted a search operation but found no explosive.

A cop said, “The call came on the Bandra railway police station's landline. The police are in the process of determining the number from which the call was made.”

The Anti-Terrorism Squad has also launched a search operation to trace the caller.
