Indore (Madhya Pradesh): So far 12,128 farmers have registered themselves in the district for the sale of wheat at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). The work of registration of farmers is going on rapidly. Farmers have been requested to get themselves registered as soon as possible.

The minimum support price of wheat for 2025-26 has been declared as Rs 2,425 per quintal. This is Rs 150 more than last year. Collector Asheesh Singh urged the farmers to register within the time limit. The last date for registration is 31 March.

District supply controller M L Maru informed that extensive arrangements have been made for registration regarding the sale of wheat at the minimum support price. So far, a total 12, 128 farmers have registered themselves in the district.

This time the registration system has been made easy and smooth for the convenience of farmers. A total of 61 registration centres have been set up to register the farmers. The registration can also be done at MP Online Kiosk, Common Service Center Kiosk, Lok Seva Kendra and Cyber Café run by private individuals by paying the prescribed fee along with MP Kisan App.

A maximum fee of Rs 50 per registration can be charged by these centres. Information about the registration facility and prescribed fee has been put up at the said centres. Farmers have been requested that if they want to sell their wheat at the support price, then they must get themselves registered. Registration is necessary to sell wheat at the support price. For registration, farmers will have to carry the necessary documents with them.
