The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) demonstrated its commitment to efficient governance during its ninth Lokshahi Din, with Vice President & CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal, resolving five long-pending cases on the spot.

Among the key cases, Amrut Kore, whose flat regularization had been stuck since 2004, received immediate approval for transfer. Fitzgerald Ozario secured ownership of his redeveloped flat after Jaiswal directed officials to accept an indemnity bond in place of an inheritance certificate. Mohammad Khan, a Konkan Board lottery winner, had excess charges on parking and clubhouse fees waived after direct intervention with the developer.

In Anil Prabhulkar’s case, a long-delayed property regularization was finalised within hours. Dilip Suryavanshi, awaiting possession of his redeveloped flat, saw immediate directives issued to facilitate handover within seven days.

Two other cases also saw swift resolutions, including one involving incorrect penalties on maintenance charges. A total of seven applications were reviewed at the session, bringing the cumulative tally to 81, with 75 successfully resolved, reinforcing MHADA’s focus on transparent and citizen-centric governance.
