Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): For the past two nights, temperatures in Madhya Pradesh have fallen below 5°C. The cold is more intense in districts of Shahdol and Gwalior divisions.

On Saturday-Sunday night, Kalyanpur recorded 4.6°C, while Anwri in Ashoknagar saw 4.8°C. The cold was also felt in Bhopal and Jabalpur, but during the day on Sunday, the weather remained warm.

Relief From Cold In Next 3 Days

According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will reduce in the coming three days. Day and night temperatures may rise by 2 to 3 degrees. However, before this change, Sunday saw bright sunshine, making the day feel warm.

In Bhopal, the sun was strong from the morning, causing some discomfort to people, though light winds provided slight relief. The weather remained clear and sunny in Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and other cities.

Night Temperature In Major Cities

Currently, many cities have temperatures below 10°C at night, but a rise is expected in the next one or two nights. The lowest night temperatures recorded on Saturday-Sunday were:

Narmadapuram recorded the highest minimum temperature at 15.2°C.

Among the big cities, Gwalior was the coldest with 8°C at night, followed by Jabalpur (9.5°C), Bhopal (10.6°C), Ujjain (12°C), and Indore, which recorded the highest night temperature of 14.9°C.

Despite the cold nights, daytime temperatures remained high, with most cities recording over 30°C on Sunday.
