The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formally inducted former captains Inzamam-Ul-Haq and Misbah-Ul-Haq into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, honoring their contributions to Pakistan cricket.

During the first match of the tri-nation ODI series against New Zealand, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi presented them with commemorative caps and plaques. The two legends walked around the stadium wearing their caps, receiving loud applause from the crowd.

Inzamam and Misbah were named in the PCB Hall of Fame class of 2024, along with Saeed Anwar and Mushtaq, who are yet to be officially inducted. The Hall of Fame already includes cricketing greats like Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Javed Miandad.

Inzamam, Pakistan’s highest ODI run-scorer with 11,701 runs and third-highest in Tests with 8,829 runs, expressed his gratitude, saying he felt honored to be recognized by PCB.

Misbah, who led Pakistan to the No. 1 ranking in Test cricket in 2016, also felt humbled by the recognition, calling it a proud moment to be included among Pakistan’s greatest cricketers.
