Ahead of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan will take part in a tri-series with New Zealand and South Africa, starting on February 8. Before the series kicked off, Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan went for souvenir shopping in Lahore with New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner and South African captain Temba Bavuma.
A video posted by Pakistan Cricket on social media shows the three captains exploring a local shop, admiring handmade crafts and aesthetic items.
During the visit, Rizwan pointed at a carpet and asked the shopkeeper, "Yeh kiska bana hua hai?" (What is this made of?). The shopkeeper replied, "Yeh toh silk se bana hua hai." (This is made of silk). Rizwan then jokingly told Santner and Bavuma, "It’s too heavy, leave your cute bags here, they are going to give you 40 kg of that one."

The tri-series will take place in Lahore and Karachi, serving as an important opportunity for all three teams to fine-tune their preparations before the Champions Trophy.
After a long wait, the newly renovated stadiums are also set to host matches. It will be a short series, with the final scheduled for February 14 in Karachi, while the Champions Trophy will begin on February 19.
