Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A middle-aged man was killed with a sharp weapon over an old rivalry in Jabalpur on Friday.
The man named Kandi Rajak was murdered in Jawahar Nagar, located in the Adhartal police station area.
The incident occurred due to an old rivalry, and the accused has been identified as Raju Thakur.

According to the victim's son, Anil Rajak, a woman came running to him and informed him that someone had attacked his father. He immediately rushed to the spot and saw a few men taking his father to the hospital.
Victim's friend says, Rajak was returning home after having tea. I was walking ahead while using my phone and talking.
Suddenly, Thakur arrived, picked up a weapon from nearby, and attacked him 3-4 times. Later, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
After the attack, the police acted quickly and arrested the accused to prevent any further incidents. Officials confirmed that the suspect was taken into custody soon after the crime was reported.
Authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation to gather more details about the motive behind the murder, including any past disputes or possible reasons that led to the attack.
They are also reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses to ensure a clear understanding of the events.
